ARCH+ feature with Brandlhuber and Johanna Meyer-Grohbrügge & Sam Chermayeff

Along with the release of ARCH+ 208 "Tokyo: Inhabiting the City" we are pleased to announce the next ARCH+ feature with Arno Brandlhuber and Johanna Meyer-Grohbrügge & Sam Chermayeff. Arno Brandlhuber whose relocation to Berlin has revived the discourse in and on Berlin (see ARCH+ 201/202, ARCH+ 205 and ARCH+ 208), and Johanna Meyer-Grohbrügge & Sam Chermayeff, who, after having worked at SANAA, have established their own office June 14 Meyer-Grohbrügge & Chermayeff in Berlin two years ago, will present their plans for the renovation of the former St. Agnes Church (Werner Düttmann, 1967). The project is commissioned by Johann König who, by relocating his gallery to the site along with many other tenants, is establishing a new cultural hub for Berlin.
Moreover Arno Brandlhuber will reflect on the practice of his office Brandlhuber+ Emde, Schneider by commenting on the new ARCH+ issue. Similarly, Johanna Meyer-Grohbrügge & Sam Chermayeff will take their contribution "Negotiating Boundaries" as a starting point to present their current projects in relationship to their Japanese experiences.
