The first catalogue surveying the art of Michael E. Smith (b. Detroit, 1977) is published on occasion of the artist’s exhibition at LUDWIG FORUM AACHEN. Besides essays by Brigitte Franzen, Alexander Koch, Simone Menegoi, Anna Sophia Schultz, and Chris Sharp, the book features a catalogue raisonné documenting Smith’s work since 2007 in 280 color illustrations on 192 pages. The catalogue was designed by BUREAU MARIO LOMBARDO and is distributed by KOENIG BOOKS; price: € 25. The editors, Brigitte Franzen and Anna Sophia Schulz, will present the book before Alexander Koch will guide a tour of the current exhibition of Michael E. Smith’s work at KOW.
